We cherish our international reputation as a shining example of heritage preservation and this awards program will help to ensure respect and appreciation of built heritage is fostered and celebrated here. We look forward to recognizing property owners for their work in rehabilitation, restoration and new construction befitting Lunenburg,” said Mayor Bailey.
“We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the 2017/18 awards”, added Deputy Mayor, Peter Mosher, and Chair of the Heritage Advisory Committee, “we encourage all citizens to nominate properties you feel deserves this recognition, and we also encourage property owners to nominate their own property.”
