Bicycle Nova Scotia, in collaboration with the Town of Lunenburg, invites you to participate in a bicycle route planning and development study in your community. Over the coming months, Bicycle Nova Scotia will be preparing recommendations to improve the safety and convenience of navigating Lunenburg on a bicycle. Our goal is to help communities evaluate the feasibility of improving conditions for bicycling and put together good project ideas. Our study is funded by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and the Department of Energy and Mines.

Bicycle Nova Scotia is a not-for-profit organization that works to improve conditions for bicycling province-wide.

To begin the study, we will be gathering information about:

  • Where people travel by bicycle in Lunenburg today
  • Barriers and problem areas for cycling in Lunenburg today
  • Destinations that should be easier to bicycle to and prioritized in the study.
